20th Class Reunion

Mentor High School Class of 2004

 
The Mentor High School Class of 2004 is invited to return to Mentor High School for a tour of the building on Friday, July 5th, from noon until 2:00 p.m.  Classmates and their families are welcome to take a nostalgic journey through the halls of MHS and rediscover memories and cherished moments of high school days.  Then on Saturday, July 6th, you are cordially invited to the Mentor High School Class of 2004 Twentieth Class Reunion at LaVera Party Center.  For more information and to purchase tickets to the reunion on Saturday, July 6th, click here:  MHS Class of 2004
 
 
 

 Mentor Cardinals Basketball CampsBasketball Boy and Girl

 
Registration is now open for the Mentor Cardinals Basketball Camps.  At the starter and elementary levels,Mentor Cardinal Head emphasis will be on such things as footwork, ball handling, shooting, strength and conditioning, and building great relationships.  Our middle school level campers will work with varsity coaches on offensive and defensive drills.  All camps are open to boys and girls and each camper will receive a T-shirt, pizza, and a pass to all boys home games and more.  For more information and to register on each level, click on the age-appropriate flyers below:

 

 
 
 
 
 

Basketball Kids

Mike Moran Basketball Camps

Mike Moran Basketball Camps, held at Lost Nation Sports Park in Willoughby, is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 14.  Session 1 runs from June 17-21 and Session 2 runs from June 24-28, 2024.  Both are week-long programs (M-F) and go from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.  The camp fee is $195.00 per session, but for campers registering by May 1st, 2024, the fee is reduced to $180.00 per session.  For complete information, click

Mentor PD Junior Police Academy 

The Mentor Police Department will be hosting Junior Police Academy on June 17-21, 2024 from 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Springbrook Gardens Park, 6776 Heisley Road. Those eligible to apply are Mentor community students who are entering grades 6, 7, and 8 next school year.  The purpose of the Junior Police Academy is to provide the recruits with a foundation of law enforcement, while enhancing their social skills to become more productive students and members of the community.  For more information and to apply for the Junior Police Academy, click here Junior Police Academy

Mentor Cardinal Youth Football & Cheerleading

 
MCYFA works in connection with the Mentor Varsity Football and Cheerleading Programs to provide young athletes an opportunity to play football and cheer in a good moral and ethical environment under the supervision of certified coaches with an emphasis on scholastics and physical fitness.  Registration for ages 6 to 12 for football and 5 (must be attending Kindergarten) to 12 for cheerleading is now open through June 30th.  For more information and to register, go to MCYFA.com

We are excited to share with you a new offering from NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Lake County designed to support our community's youth!  Our new Adolescent Support Group (ASG) aims to equip middle-school aged teens to overcome life's challenges through creativity, connection, and coping skills.  This free peer-led program will take place every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. beginning April 3rd.  Meetings will be held in the Frances Cleveland Room of Mentor Public Library - Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Avenue.  While the program is free, registration is required.  For more information and a QR code to complete the registration form, click NAMI Adolescent Support Group

Healthy Kids Running Series

Healthy Kids Running Series was created to motivate kids to lead a healthy and active lifestyle through a positive introduction to the world of running.  Join us on five consecutive Sundays beginning Sunday, April 7th, at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Catholic High School, 6733 Reynolds Road in Mentor to experience the fun of running!

Mentor Cardinals Breakfast Shooting Club

Sign up now to join the Breakfast Shooting Club!  This is for all girls currently in grades 6-8 at Shore and Memorial this spring!  Coach Mihalick (Perry Boys Assistant & OnePercent Owner) and Mentor Varsity Coach, James Hrusovsky will be working with the girls once a week at each middle school from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. We will be working on shooting skills and habits to start the off-season! Mentor Public Schools Kindergarten Registration 2024-2025

Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-25 school year will open on Friday, March 1st, 2024 for children who will be five years old on or before September 30, 2024.  During the month of May, a Kindergarten Meet & Greet will be held at each elementary school.  Only those students who are pre-registered by May 1Kindergarten Kids, 2024 will be able to participate in this event where they will receive a "Class of 2037" T-shirt once they are registered.  For more information and a link to the online registration, click Kindergarten Registration 2024-25
