Cardinal Go!
Partnership Overview:
-
Cardinal GO is a partnership between Mentor High School and Laketran.
-
It allows Mentor High School students in grades 9-12, with parent/guardian permission, to ride Laketran's Local Route 1-9 free of charge for various travel needs.
-
The aim is to increase access to real-world learning opportunities and community resources in northeast Ohio.
How to Participate:
-
Parents/Guardians should provide permission via the Annual Update in the parent portal by accessing the Cardinal Go Permission form.
-
Students must download the EZfare app.
Getting the Cardinal GO Bus Pass:
-
Download the EZfare app from the App Store or Google Play.
-
Create an account using your Mentor High School email.
-
Email Kerry Jonke at [email protected] to inform Laketran that you've created your EZfare account.
-
Laketran will then add a semester bus pass that provides unlimited rides.
Why Ride Laketran:
-
Laketran Routes 1-9 provide access to destinations like Great Lakes Mall, Atlas Cinema, Lakeland Community College, and more, all for free.
-
Even if students don't plan to ride the bus immediately, it's recommended to download the app and create an account to have a pass available for last-minute transportation needs.
