Mentor High School Art Department

Creating student success in school, work and life! Some students think of art class as little more than "just drawing", but there is much more that can be learned in art! Art can help students with project development skills, learning a variety of hands-on techniques, developing time management skills, building a sense of pride and achievement and art provides an opportunity to meet new people. We believe that the arts are VITAL in providing a well-rounded education for our students and that art education promotes student success in school, work and life. Any of our art classes may be used to fulfill the Mentor High School Fine Arts requirement for graduation, the Academic Honors Diploma, Fine Arts requirement and the College Core visual arts requirement.
