Congratulations to senior Grace Eichler who finished in fifth place in Congressional Debate, sophomores Manav Malik and Zeyad Mansour who finished in sixth place in Public Forum Debate. We have two regular season tournaments remaining before our post-season work begins.

Students’ Artwork Receives National Recognition!

Mentor High School students participated in a juried exhibition and gained national recognition for their work. Congratulations to seniors Josh Luboski and Bethany McVey, and juniors Olivia Spieker and Hannah Jamieson!

Speech & Debate - Vermilion Tournament

This past weekend, seven kids competed at the Vermilion Tournament. Caden Coleman finished in fifth place in Declamation, Grace Eichler finished in seventh place in Congressional Debate, and Manav Malik and Zeyad Mansour finished in ninth place in Public Forum Debate. The team was 14th out of 31 teams which is pretty great for having only 7 students registered in only 4 of the 14 events. This weekend we wrap up our 2020 competition at Kenston; we are back at it on January 9.
