MHS Partnership Luncheon

At this inaugural luncheon, we recognized 5 community partners who have helped foster new opportunities for students in our district.

Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame

This year Mentor inducted 6 individuals into the Mentor High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame for the 2022 year. Congratulations to Lawrence Clement Sr Class of 1962, Pamela Jones Tice Class of 1967, Karen Blankshaen Class of 1982, Michelle Hamlett Farley Class of 1992, Craig D. Sundstrom Class of 2003 and Alison Reilly Lutes Class of 2011.

Athletic Signing Ceremony

Three student athletes signed their letters of intent to continue both their academic and athletic careers in college. We wish them the best of luck and remember, Once a Cardinal, Always a Cardinal!

Top 25 Big Show

Mentor High School's show choir, Top 25, had their annual Big Show performance April 22nd & 23rd. This year's theme featured songs from classic Disney movies to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Disney World.

Mentor Public Schools and Laketran pilot “Cardinal Go” to improve access for high school students

Mentor Public Schools was recently awarded a grant that will fully fund a two-year pilot of a new student transit benefit program with Laketran. Cardinal Go is an innovative partnership that will allow Mentor High School students, grades 9-12, to ride Laketran’s Local Route 1-9 free of charge wherever they are traveling – be it to campus, internships, activities, local resources, or after school jobs.

Mentor Public Library Hold Lockers at Mentor High School

Picking up books, movies, and anything else from your local library just got more convenient! Mentor Public Library has installed hold lockers outside of Mentor High School near the entrance to the gymnasium between the Fine Arts Center and Paradigm building. Anyone with a CLEVNET card can now request items be sent to the hold lockers the same way they’d have them delivered to any other library branch. Click the link to learn more!
